I had so much fun last week making pancake cereal that I’ve decided to write this recipe that I came up with because I couldn’t find one when I was looking <3
Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 70g self-raising flour
- 4g butter (melted)
- 125 ml milk
- 1 tsp baking powder

How to make pancake cereal: the method
- Put the flour and baking powder in a bowl together and mix
- Add the egg, melted butter and milk
- Mix together with a whisk, (can be an electric or a balloon whisk) until there are no lumps in the mixture (I tend to pour the mixture into a jug now but it doesn’t really matter!)
- Put a small knob of butter into the pan and wait until it’s melted
- Use a teaspoon for the amount of mixture per pancake and then keep going until there’s enough in the pan
- Wait until there are a good amount of bubbles and then flip them over to cook the other side
- Once you have the amount that you want, put them in a bowl and add the toppings you want 🙂
Alternatively, you can use this recipe when you want to make American pancakes 🙂
Happy baking! What’s your go-to pancake topping?🍓 Mine is normally Nutella but I went with maple syrup this time 🥞
Tag me on Instagram if you make them 🙂
Best wishes, Cx
