Pancake cereal recipe

August 12, 2020 Filed Under: Blog posts

I had so much fun last week making pancake cereal that I’ve decided to write this recipe that I came up with because I couldn’t find one when I was looking <3

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 70g self-raising flour
  • 4g butter (melted)
  • 125 ml milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder

How to make pancake cereal: the method

  1. Put the flour and baking powder in a bowl together and mix
  2. Add the egg, melted butter and milk
  3. Mix together with a whisk, (can be an electric or a balloon whisk) until there are no lumps in the mixture (I tend to pour the mixture into a jug now but it doesn’t really matter!)
  4. Put a small knob of butter into the pan and wait until it’s melted
  5. Use a teaspoon for the amount of mixture per pancake and then keep going until there’s enough in the pan
  6. Wait until there are a good amount of bubbles and then flip them over to cook the other side
  7. Once you have the amount that you want, put them in a bowl and add the toppings you want πŸ™‚

Alternatively, you can use this recipe when you want to make American pancakes πŸ™‚

Happy baking! What’s your go-to pancake topping?πŸ“ Mine is normally Nutella but I went with maple syrup this time πŸ₯ž

Tag me on Instagram if you make them πŸ™‚

Best wishes, Cx
