Get to know me tag

I’ve seen this type of tag on Youtube and some other blogs so I thought it would be a fun way for you to get to know me better.

The questions are from Root Report, I didn’t use them all so reordered them a bit.

Edit: I thought it would be fun to do an updated version, so my current answers (September 2022) are in green!

Onto the questions…

1. Are you named after anyone?

I don’t think so, but my middle name is the same as my granny’s middle name.

2. What phone do you have?

iPhone 6s in rose gold – even though it runs out of battery within a couple of hours, I don’t want a new phone!

I currently have an iPhone 13 mini which I got for my previous (20th) birthday.

3. Do you have kids? If no, how many do you want?

No, but I think I want 3 kids

Having kids is my biggest dream in life! I would love to have 3 or 4,

4. Any pets?

Two cats, Monty and Percy – they’re 9 as of 29th August 2020.

Monty and Percy are now 11 (their birthday was a few days ago).

5. Favourite Youtuber(s)?

Joe Sugg – He was the first Youtuber I watched and I still really enjoy watching his videos.

I don’t really watch that much YouTube anymore. But I do quite enjoy watching Zoe Sugg’s videos with her adorable daughter, Ottie in them!

6. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Eyebrows – It’s strange but ever since I started doing mine, I’m always looking at how other people do theirs.

7. What is your eye colour?

Blue

8. Scary movie or happy endings?

Definitely happy endings! I don’t watch films or even read books that have sad endings. Sometimes I read the last chapter of a book just so that I know everything is going to be ok 🙈 Plus, I like to read online what happens in TV shows…please tell me someone else does this too?

9. Favorite smells?

My favourite candle scent is cotton but other than that I love the smell of melted chocolate and roses.

10. What’s your favourite thing to have for breakfast?

Homemade American pancakes with Nutella on.

11. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Definitely Spain – I’ve been trying to learn Spanish in lockdown, though have failed.

I would to have a house in a small town or village, I love the idea of being in a community. It would definitely have to be in the countryside, cities make me anxious.

13. What’s your zodiac sign? Do you believe in it?

Pisces – I absolutely love zodiac signs and check my horoscope most days.

14. What are your hobbies?

Creative writing, blogging, making mind maps, bullet journalling, painting with acrylic paint, photography and hanging out with my cats.

My hobbies are still very similar, though I am laughing a bit that I put making mind maps! I would say that reading is definitely a big hobby of mine now, and I love creating (bucket) lists too.

15. Do you consider yourself a good cook?

I’d like to think so 🙂

16. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Something to do with the environment – possibly helping endangered animals.

When I first wrote this, I still had 4 months to go before I started uni! Now I am about to go into my third year of uni, it’s so crazy how time flies. I definitely want to do something to do with ecology. I would also love to try writing some nature/eco freelancing pieces.

17. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

100% introvert, my personality type is an INFJ.

18. How tall are you?

5ft5

19. What is your least favourite thing about yourself?

I’m very indecisive & I would like to be slightly more outgoing.

I would say that it is my indecisiveness still. Since being at university, I have become more outgoing but I’m still very much an introvert at heart!

20. What’s your favourite quote?

You don’t have to feel ready to be ready.

21. How many countries have you visited?

5 – France, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Switzerland.

22. What was your favourite/worst subject in High School?

My favourite subject was Geography and my worst was Physics.

23. What is your Favorite drink? Animal? Perfume?

• Tea
• Cats, otters and sea turtles
• Ghost – Sweetheart

24. What would you (or have you) name your children?

I love the names Lily, Avery, Jacob and Aiden

My current favourite names are River, Luna, Mason and Aiden.

25. 3 things that make you happy?

Hanging out with close friends, family and my cats.

Being with Monty & Percy, my family and outside in nature.
