My Bournemouth summer bucket list

May 23, 2021 Filed Under: Lifestyle, Blog posts

I’ve only been in Bournemouth for 3 weeks in September which sucks, especially as it’s my first year! My flatmate and I are going to be doing lots of things before we move out of halls so I thought it would be fun to create a Bournemouth summer bucket list! I’ve been back for 2 & 1/2 weeks but have exams at the end of the month. As well as a field trip in June so more coursework until about the 14th. I’m moving out at the very beginning of July so I’m trying to make the most of it and we all know how much I love a bucket list 🙂 I will be posting the photos all over Insta!

1. Go to the cat cafe

I think these two are Sweetcheeks and Max

2. Paint by the sea

3. Play mini golf

4. Go on the pier

A beautiful sunset on the pier

5. Have a meal out

I went to Wetherspoon’s with my flatmates

6. Have drinks out

7. Meet up with my coursemates

8. Meet up with my friend

A delicious halloumi burger we had on the beach!

9. Go to a social event

10. Do the pier to pier walk

I didn’t take any pictures of the beach 🤦‍♀️ but this photo is in the Chine Gardens at Boscome.

11. Walk in the gardens

12. Go to Turtle Bay

I went to Turtle Bay with my friend and it absolutely tipped it down so we had to eat whilst holding an umbrella 🥴 I had Watermelon slush which was so good! But, I didn’t realise how spicy the food would be so I probably won’t go back for a meal again.

13. Visit Durdle Door

14. Go on a sunrise run/walk

15. Go to the restaurant on the pier

16. Do more litter picks

17. Have chips on the beach

Do you have any suggestions for my Bournemouth summer bucket list?

Best wishes, Cx

I really wish we had a cat cafe here. My husband and I have talked about opening one. It was more serious pre-pandemic, but now it seems like a bad idea until COVID is slightly more under control.

Love your bucket list and that you’ve already started crossing bits off. I adore Bournemouth, it’s one of my favourite spots to go to during the summer!

I recommend visiting sandbanks beach. It’s really pretty. You should visit the odeon and choose the recliner seats. You should visit Alum Chine beach. You should visit the Oceanarium. These are just a few examples. Bournemouth is beautiful isn’t it!
