Last year I created 22 things to do in 2022 for my bucket list. I really enjoyed taking part in this, though I didnβt manage to tick them all off. For my 2023 bucket list, I have included a couple of things from last year I have plans in motion! I have got about 15 things on the list, so this should be doable for the year.
1. Graduate
This should be an easy oneβ¦touch wood!
2. Go to Poole Park
This one seems much easier in comparison to a lot of the things on the list. I had it on last yearβs list, but I never got around to getting the bus and visiting.

3. Go on holiday with friends
I am planning to go interrailing this summer with my best friend which I am very excited about! For my birthday, Iβm going to Bath with 3 of my friends.
4. Read 40 books
Last yearβs goal was 30 books and I managed to read 50 books, so I have averaged it out for my target.
5. Go interrailing
As I said before, I am going interrailing this summer! I am very excited, and so many travel accounts are coming up on TikTok for me.
6. See 3 butterfly species I havenβt seen before
Of course, I needed a butterfly-related one! Last year I managed to see 19 butterfly species and lots of them were new to me. This year I really want to see 3 more species that I havenβt seen before. I would love to see the Large Blue, Silver Studded Blue and Clouded Yellow.
7. Visit Bath
As I said earlier, I have booked to go to Bath for my 21st birthday! Iβve very excited because I live relatively close and yet I havenβt properly visited it. Iβve booked an Airbnb for 2 nights and made a (bucket)list of places I want to go to. A few of my musts are bookshops, Mrs Potts Chocolate Shop and checking out the Bridgerton spots.

Going to Bath was an absolute dream, my highlight of 2023 so far! We visited lots of bookshops, my favourite was Toppings & Company β the book ladders were very cool. It even snowed which was very magical to wake up to. Definitely recommend Bath π
8. Try paddle boarding
Living in Bournemouth, it feels like I need to try out paddle boarding. I went to Italy in 2017 and saw someone paddleboarding and since then I have wanted to try. Hopefully, my friend and I will get to try it this summer.

9. Have a good 21st birthday
As I am posting this, my 21st is a little over 4 weeks away which is crazy!
10. Go to a restaurant and order what I want
I really want to go to a restaurant and order what I want without worrying that it is a weird combination or that itβs not the correct thing. For example, just order sides.
11. Make focaccia
I really got into breadmaking in December and next on my list is focaccia! On bake-off, they did look quite hard but I would love to have a go. Focaccia is so tasty!
12. Read 10 books I already own
I am guilty of buying books and letting them sit on my shelf for ages before I end up reading them. Last year, my goal was to buy fewer books and I did manage to do this. I have been a bit brutal with which books I buy and I try my hardest to only buy second-hand books from World Of Books or charity shops. Normally I only buy a book new if I really want to read it and canβt find it second-hand.
13. Stick to a skin routine
I will put my hands up and say I donβt look after my skin as well as I should. This year I really want to rectify that. Taking my make-up off, cleansing and moisturising my face.
14. Buy less chocolate
Iβm not saying eat less chocolate! But I want to eat what I have before buying more. This will save money and space. I often let chocolate or sweets sit around before eating them because Iβm trying to save them for a special occasion. Eat the chocolate, you can always buy more.
15. Explore the local area
I have lived in Cheltenham my entire life and yet I donβt feel like I know it well enough, I want to check out more cafes, gardens etc. While I am living in Bournemouth, I want to do the same. I feel that I have explored a fair amount of it, but I would love to explore more nature reserves and more of the New Forest.
What is on your 2023 bucket list?

These are great things to include on your list for 2023. We like the idea of just ordering sides.
thank you x
