Happy Easter Sunday (if that’s something you celebrate!). Today I am hosting Natalie from Let’s Take A Moment on my blog. She is sharing outdoor moments she enjoys which is fitting since there’s such lovely weather here in the UK. If you would like to guest post on my blog, all of the information is here. I also still have a few advertising slots for May – DM me on Twitter for more information.

First, let me begin by saying how honoured I am to share this guest blog post with each of you. Thank you so much Caroline “Enviroline Blog” for having me as a guest writer for your blog.
There are several reasons I enjoy moments outdoors. The balance for me is that I also enjoy precious moments indoors too. But for this blog, I would like to take a moment with you to discuss, “Outdoor Moments I Enjoy.”
I must admit, I do not like everything about the outdoors. Just to name a few of these things I don’t like, include dealing with bugs, the intense heat in the summer and the extreme cold in the winter. The truth is there are specific moments that matter to me when being outdoors in every season.
I can remember when I lived up north that although it can be rather difficult to deal with snow and the cold temperatures, I really enjoyed watching the snow as it fell. Let’s be real, playing in the snow at nearly any age is fun too. I can remember throwing snowballs and trying to make a snowman just to name a few things I did in the winter months when living up north.
Personally, two of my favourite seasons are Springtime and Fall. It is during these seasons that the temperatures outdoors can almost feel perfect in my opinion. It is not too cold and not too hot. During the springtime, I absolutely love seeing all the flowers and trees blooming. After winter when all outdoor plants were dormant, they begin to flourish. The sun seems extra brilliant to me too honestly.
Now before I move on to my second favourite season, “the Fall,” let me share the moments I enjoy outdoors during the Summertime. You see, summer for me causes me to think about the intense heat and trying to stay cool while being outdoors. Living in Florida can be extremely hot. I am not exaggerating when I say this. I know everywhere in the middle of the summer months can be hot as I can recall when living up north. However, it can be brutal in Florida for sure. You can quickly become dehydrated so drinking lots of water is a must.
However, some of my favourite moments during the summer include going to the beach, enjoying outdoor water sports, and evening walks. Although it can be hot, there are things you must keep in mind when being outdoors, so you won’t become dehydrated or too burned from the sun. It is important to put on a hat/cap and sunblock to protect your skin.
I can remember when I was little going to the beach with my parents and after walking on the sand barefoot, we had to put our shoes on as soon as we got to the boardwalk. If we did not, our feet would burn, or we would get splinters in our feet… ouch. No matter what, these are fun memories and moments I enjoyed during the summer.
Now let me discuss why the fall season is another one of my favourites to enjoy outdoors. First, I get to enjoy the changes of seasons. This is something I really love because the colours of the leaves in fall are so beautiful. There is a feeling in the air that a new season is at hand as we transition in preparing for the winter months.
During the fall, I so love being outdoors as once again the temperatures are so perfect for me. I get to take walks outside and watch the beautiful sun set. Whether playing basketball, soccer, or going for a slow jog, the outdoors during fall is so enjoyable to me.
I must admit, something I really enjoy regarding the outdoors, no matter the seasons, is reflecting on the beauty of the sky and watching the sun as it sets. This is something I absolutely love to do. I have taken so many pictures of the sun setting because it is breathtaking to me. The truth is the camera cannot even capture the beauty in my opinion. I see it as ‘God’s artwork” in the sky.
Now that I have had the opportunity to share some of my favourite outdoor moments with each of you, I would love to hear some of yours too. Also, let me know what season is your favourite and why? Thank you for taking a moment with me as I discussed why each season has some of my favourite outdoor moments I enjoy.
I hope you enjoyed Natalie’s guest post, I loved it! My favourite season is autumn/fall, and my second is spring so we are quite similar. Make sure you check out her blog & here are her socials:

I’m similar Natalie, I love Spring and Fall as I’m not a fan either of extreme heat or cold in winter/summer! I also love how all the flowers and trees look in both seasons and enjoy the fewer buggy times of the year! Thanks for sharing this awesome post 🙂

I’m very similar Natalie, I myself love spring and autumn. I love watching the change in seasons and admiring all the beautiful things which come with it. I just love watching the trees change colour. We have a cherry blossom tree in our communal garden and watching it change with each season is just beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this post with us lovely, it’s a great read Xo
