Blogmas day 1 | Small businesses gift guide

First day of blogmas! Super excited to be doing it this year, but since it’s basically my first year and I’m really busy with uni, I’m going to be doing 12 days of blogmas instead of 24 (or is it 25?). I thought that I would share some of the presents I’ve bought from small businesses.

WARNING: If you are a member of my family or my best friend….click off this post!

Christmas cards

I found these really lovely plantable Christmas cards* that are from Suzanne Marie Paperie which I just think are so cute! If you want to postcards to your relatives but don’t want to have a negative impact on the environment, these are the ones to buy. She also sells gift tags and more designs of plantable and recycled cards.

Mugs

There are two small businesses that I got mugs from, but first, we have Kenzie’s Card Group which is full of mugs from tv shows, movies etc.

I bought this Luigi one which you can also personalise though I chose not to:

Etsy link: Luigi mug

The sewing mug* I bought was from Cloud 9 Design and they sell a variety of items including mugs, art prints, cards and even decorations. The mug that I bought only has one left! I love it because my sister is really into sewing so I thought it would be perfect for her, as the previous company, you can customise this too.

Food

I came across Candy Stack Creations on Etsy a few weeks ago, they sell homemade fudge, chocolate gift bags/hearts, sweet boxes/bags/hampers and Christmas pick n mix jars. I decided to buy the fudge* for my friend and a Lindor heart* for my mum.

Keepsakes

I am completely obsessed with Emily Rose Keepsakes which is a small business that I found via a friend on Instagram. She creates the cutest keepsakes and keyrings which make perfect gifts for a friend or loved one. I bought one of the star sign resin keyrings*, I almost bought one for myself too! <3

Another small business that has keepsakes is Krafts and Keepsakes UK I decided to buy my mum and brother some bamboo socks but I really wanted the ones for my mum to be sheep themed*, as she loves them. The bicycle ones* for my brother were perfect too. I did multiple searches but these ones were my favourite. They have so many designs, I could have gotten every member in my family one as they just have such a massive variety of designs. Also, they have Christmas ones which are so cute – even sprout themed ones!

Along with bamboo socks, they sell pillows, purses, baby gifts etc.

Jewellery

The next small business is BSey Design who sell a variety of jewellery including earrings, bracelets, hairpins, necklaces etc. I actually found this business when I was looking for a small box for my mum. They have lots of designs but I chose to buy one of the lavender designs*.

Beeswax wraps

The last of the small businesses that I’m going to talk about in this post is Roo’s Beeswax Wraps. Roo sells lots of designs of beeswax wraps but also beeswax wrap replenish bars which I thought were just a genius idea! I’ve bought one for my mum which I think is the cutest, coolest thing ever and I might not be able to resist buying one for myself <3 If you have a friend or family member that has beeswax wraps, buy them a replenish bar to make their wraps last even longer (or buy both!).

I hope that this post was useful, I’ve absolutely loved supporting small businesses this Christmas and I will definitely continue to shop small in the future <3
