spring prints

As it is now spring, it’s the perfect time to update the prints in my uni room! Previously, I created a cosy hygge corner with my autumn prints from Poster Store*. But, we’re just heading into the 3rd month of spring, so it’s definitely time to make a switch to some more seasonal spring prints. Poster Store has a fabulous range of prints, posters and frames, with a new collection launching every Tuesday.

Spring is my second favourite season, my favourite being autumn! There are so many wonderful things to look forward to this season with the abundance of flowers, birds & butterflies, the warmer days and lighter evenings. I have been trying to make the most of the lighter evenings by going to the beach with my friends and having a cocktail.

Recently I have been going on butterfly walks to try and take some good close-up photos! It was so fun to see all the butterflies that are out in the UK, on just one walk. As I am so interested in nature and wildlife, I have gone with that general theme for the prints in my room.

Who is Poster Store?

If you are a new reader of my blog, you might not have heard of Poster Store. They are a Swedish brand that sells prints, posters and frames with a Scandinavian flair. There are so many great things about Poster Store, but my favourite is that they are sustainable. For me, sustainability is one of my top priorities, so I love that they are FSC approved which means that the paper is from sustainably managed forests.

The spring prints I chose

The spring prints I chose are from the following categories:

  • Nature
  • Typography & Quote
  • Mindfulness
  • Illustrations & Abstract

Here is the gallery wall:

Nature

There are so many good nature prints to pick from, I really had trouble choosing which prints to buy! I wanted them all to have a similar aesthetic, which is why I chose these ones. I thought that the pastel flowers looked really good together, and to brighten up my room too. As you can probably tell, I am very into butterflies so I couldn’t resist that one. The banana tree print has a vintage feel to it and it went really well with the swan print, as did the flowers with the butterfly.

Illustrations & Abstract

I recently did one of my assignments on swans, and they are one of my favourite animals so I just had to have this print! It has the same vintage aesthetic to it that the banana tree has so I thought they would match well.

Typography & Quotes

As soon as I saw the “Sometimes, nature is all you need.” print, I immediately added it to my basket! What screams spring more than nature? So that was how I came up with my nature/flower idea. The print on the left just really ‘spoke’ to me. I put it up next to my painting doodles because I love painting, and it makes my soul happy!

Mindfulness

The final print I chose was from the mindfulness section. I really want to get into yoga because I have heard that it’s good for stress, endometriosis & IBS – all of which, I unfortunately have. I already do a few yoga poses on my period which really helps. But I have wanted some kind of physical chart that I can see as I am practising yoga, rather than an app so this will be really useful! I’ve put it up on the side of my shelves because it’s in front of where I lay my yoga mat.

There we have it…my spring prints from Poster Store! You can use 45CAROLINE  for 45% off your order, excluding selection posters and frames. This discount is available between the 29th of April to the 6th of May, not combinable with other discount campaigns.

Which is your favourite print/poster?

Best wishes, Cx

The swan looks beautiful. Beautiful prints are not just for aesthetics but help with our mood. The swan is really pretty I can’t get over it.
