Blogmas day 9 | The Christmas tag 2020

December 17, 2020 Filed Under: Blog posts, Lifestyle

Today I am going to do the Christmas tag that Sophie nominated me for! Check out her version here xx I love getting nominated for tags, so I was excited to see that it was a Christmassy one πŸ™‚

On with the post…

The Christmas tag rules

  • Put on your favourite Christmas playlist to listen to while answering!
  • Have a Christmas drink and/or snack while writing
  • Thank the blogger who tagged you and link to their site
  • Answer the 10 original questions
  • Answer the questions set by whoever tagged you
  • Ask 2 questions of your own
  • Tag 6 bloggers to take part

The original questions

When do your decorations go up?

I don’t really have an official day but I think this year I happened to decorate my tree on the 1st of December πŸŽ„

Who is the Scrooge in your family or friendship group?

I don’t really think anyone is.

If money were no object, how and where would you spend Christmas?

To be honest, I’d probably spend it at home still. Saying that, I think it would be fun to spend it somewhere with snow, like Lapland!

What Christmas film do you HAVE to watch every festive season?

I’m such a boring person, I never really watch something twice because even if I love it, I’ll get bored. This is weird because I’ll watch tv series over and over again! But Elf is such a classic and I haven’t seen it for a couple of years so I wanna try and make the time to watch it this year πŸ™‚

Who do you find the hardest to buy presents for?

My brother – men, in general, are just way harder!

Would you rather buy lots of little presents for a hamper or buy one big/main present?

Definitely lots of little presents – I love lots of small ones, it’s so exciting πŸ™‚

What did you leave out for Santa when you were a child?

A mince pie and a glass of sherry for Santa and a carrot for his reindeers πŸŽ…πŸ₯•

Where did you spend last Christmas?

At home

Which Christmas song makes you cringe?

Ummm not anything really. Maybe Baby It’s Cold Outside?

If you could be a character in a holiday movie, who would you be and why?

Hmmm, that’s a hard one! I think I’d love to be Buddy because he is so carefree and doesn’t worry about anything (which is the opposite of me) <3

Sophie’s questions

Does your family have a tradition of their own? If so, what is it?

Baking a gingerbread house, I uploaded some pictures in my Christmas Q&A

What’s your favourite part of Christmas day?

The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special! πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί

Men are so tough to buy for- I think my boyfriend is the most difficult tbh, or maybe my dad. I love buying gifts for my little sister- I always buy her cute and random presents I would never buy for myself πŸ™‚ thanks for sharing, Merry Christmas x

Ohhh, I always love reading tags, it’s such a great opportunity to get the know the blogger a little bit better! I agree with you on the buying presents part, men are so difficult. Luckily in my family wish lists are a thing, so we always know what to buy for each other!
