Top Ten Tuesday is a listicle created by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was created from a love of lists, books and creating bookish friends. Each Tuesday she assigns a new topic for others to join in with. Here is where you can learn more information about Top Ten Tuesday. Today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is books set in bucket list places, which was put forward by Rachel from Sunny Side. This is such a fun prompt, though I found it harder than I was expecting! I’ve highlighted my bucket list places within the book synopsis. Some of the places I have been lucky enough to visit, such as Venice, whilst I was interrailing.

Following a clue in the letters, Luna packs her bags and heads to Venice, to a gorgeous but faded bookshop overlooking the canals, hoping to uncover the truth about her motherβs mysterious past.
Will Luna find the answers sheβs looking for β and finally find the place she belongs?

French Holiday by Sarah Ready

StoryGraph synopsis:
Merry DeLuca has a problemβa big problem. Her sister just married her best friend and the only man sheβs ever loved. Her life is rapidly spiralling down the drain, and she doesnβt have an escape plan.
So when Merry is offered a three-month holiday living in a romantic castle in the French countryside, she leaps at the chance. Merry knows her French holiday will fix everythingβthere will be mouthwatering pastries, delicious (meaningless) flirtations, and languid strolls through vineyards at sunset. Her holiday will be perfect.
At least, Merry believes that until she arrives and finds Noah Wrightβthe best man at her sisterβs wedding and the worst man sheβs ever knownβstaying in her castle.
Famous travel documentarian by day and arrogant devil by night, Noah refuses to leave the castle. Which means that Merry and Noah are stuck together in France, in a crumbling castle, in a holiday where nothing goes right. Not for Merry and not for Noah.
So they strike a truceβtheyβll live as cohabitating friends for three-months, and then theyβll amicably part ways, never to see each other again.
But the thing about friendship? Sometimes secrets are uncovered. Mysteries revealed. Hearts laid bare. And friendship can start to feel a lot like caring. A lot like love. It can even make you wish that the holiday never has to end.

What books are set in your bucket list places?
Caroline β‘

Ireland has been a popular pick this week!
The French countryside seems like it would be gorgeous! I think once upon a time I read about Sarah’s book so seeing it here is a reminder that maybe I need to read up on that one again. π
I selected Paris, but would love to travel around France. I visited a lot of places while on a 21 day Mediterranean Cruise, but only 1 or 2 days in a place, so need to go back to many places. I love your list, Caroline and will be checking out many of your books. They look like ones I would enjoy.
I only read The Spanish Love Deception from your list π
