Wow, look at me completing two Top Ten Tuesday prompts in a row! I am definitely enjoying blogging again, and I hope this is something I keep up, even as the spring and summer become busy. The prompt for this week is the top ten most anticipated books for the first half of 2026; I’ve discovered lots of 2026 book releases that I’m looking forward to while writing this! I’ve noticed that most bloggers use Goodreads, so if you use StoryGraph, I would love to connect β
Honey Bee Mine by Sarah T. Dubb

StoryGraph synopsis:
Like the bees she keeps, Penny Becker lives by a golden rule: never stop working. That mantra kept Becker Farms running when her grandfather, dad, and ex all left for greener pastures. But after taking out a loan for an expansion plan that crashed and burned, Penny has to find a way to pay or risk losing it all, and sheβs betting everything on the Sullivanβs Glen Honey Festival. To save the farm, she has to make the festival bigger, better, and more successful than ever beforeβand she plans to do it all on her own.
Reformed bad boy turned restaurateur Zander Bouras left Sullivanβs Glen in a blaze of glory and vowed to never return. But when his ex-wife wants to go back for the summer, Zander grudgingly follows. He refuses to miss time with his son, and figures itβs finally time to deal with the farmhouse his grandfather left, for some reason, to him.
His first day in town brings Zander face-to-face with Penny, the girl whose perfect life mocked him from next door. Itβs just his luck that his son loves her and her bees, and before he knows it, heβs been volunteered to help plan a honey festival with the sexy, stubborn beekeeper whose braid he just wants to tug. As they learn to work together, Zander faces his demons and learns to see Sullivanβs Glen in a new light as Penny realises that accepting help isnβt so badβespecially from the right person. But as the festival day and Zanderβs departure draw near, theyβll have to decide if the romance buzzing between them can last past the sweet days of summer.

Love By the Book by Jessica George

StoryGraph synopsis:
Remy is lucky. Her debut novel, based on her three best friends, became an instant bestseller when it was released, and her agent and publisher are clamouring for a follow-up. But just as Remyβs creative inspiration seems to leave her, so too do her friends: one moves to New York, one gets pregnant, and one gets back together with her (awful) boyfriend. After an ill-advised one-night stand complicates matters further, Remy is left deeply aloneβand unable to find her next book idea.
Simone is successful. A Kindergarten teacher with a passion for kids, and a well-paying side hustle that affords her all the material comforts she desires, Simone doesn’t have time for a robust social life. All she needs is her close-knit familyβbut after the true nature of her work is revealed, they cut her off, and she realises for the first time just how isolated she is.
When Simone and Remy bump into each other (literally) in a bookstore, it isnβt exactly soulmates at first sight. Simone is guarded and prickly, Remy is insecure and heartbroken, and each woman is harbouring a secret. And yet they might just be the missing piece the other has been searching forβif only they can let each other in.
Can Simone help Remy make one of the most important decisions of her lifeβand can Remy help Simone recover all that sheβs lost? In Jessica Georgeβs heartwarming, funny, and soulful second novel, she explores the restorative nature of female friendship and the life-changing power of platonic love.
